Pete Davidson’s sister writes tribute to father who died on 9/11

Casey Davidson posted a photo of the elderly Davidson in his firefighter uniform in New York City on her Instagram account.

“This year, more than ever, I wish you could be here,” the caption read. “We miss you, we celebrate you and we remember you every day. Proud to be your casey girl.”

In 2018, then-elected Congressman Dan Crenshaw named Davidson’s father during a performance on “SNL.”

Davidson had faced backlash after mocking Crenshaw on the show and brought him up to apologize.

In return, Crenshaw said the world must never forget the lost on September 11, including the elder Davidson.

“So I just say, ‘never forget,’ said Crenshaw before shaking hands with Davidson, who also replied by saying ‘never forget’.
